If travelling to the Herford Branch for meetings, courses or just to be sociable we want you to arive in time and unflustered. If you don't know the Herford area you will more than likely be travelling to Herford by autobahn, from the North or South via the A2, or the North West via the A30.

From the A2

Exit the A2 at exit 30 'Herford Ost' and turn towards Herford. Follow that road and turn left at the roundabout. Follow that road down the hill and you will find Wentworth Bks on your left. Turn left into Liststrasse and the camp gate will be on the left.

From the A30

Leave the A30 at exit 28 'Hiddenhausen' and follow the signs for Herford. Follow that road into Herford and cross the main junction when you see the Mc Donalds. Take the second left, under the railway bridge and then keep going straigt on. Turn right just before the Shell garage and follow the road straight up the hill, over the crossroads and past the Church. There is a Sparkasse and a school on the left hand side, turn right into Liststrasse and the camp gate will be on your left.

The Royal British Legion, Herford Branch e.V. is located in the cellar of Block F, Wentworth Barracks. The gate guard will be more than happy to point out block F which can be seen from the gate and just follow the path behind the block to the main entrance. Parking is available behind the block.
