Herford Branch
of the
Royal British Legion

The town of Herford is situated in northern Germany in the area of 'Eastern Westfalia'. The home of many light industries surrounded by beautiful countryside. It has also been the home of a British Garrison for many years and has many British ex-patriots living in the town and surrounding area. Some of these ex-patriots, serving members of the garrison and their families still wish to help each other and deserving causes home in the United Kingdom and spend time collecting for charity. It's not always hard work and a lot of fun is had during the various events held to raise funds, but the motto of the Royal British Legion is never too far from their minds.....
